Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately code E&M and office procedures.
- Able to work independently and research coding scenarios.
- Attend conference calls and communicate coding issues.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma required, Associates or BS degree preferred.
- Must have CPC certification.
- Minimum of 3 years physician coding experience in E&M.
Skills Required:
- Must have proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, modifiers, disease processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, electronic healthcare record information billing systems.
