Technical Architect- Application Engineering

About the Job:

• The Technical Architect will focus on designing, engineering, and standardizing application integration for SAS Viya solutions on Azure and AWS.
• You will ensure consulting teams and customers have the tools, patterns, and guidance to build, deploy, and operate custom solution workloads at scale.
• This role involves partnering with platform engineering, consulting, and operations to translate solution requirements into repeatable application architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and guide application architectures built on SAS Viya solutions, integrating with third-party services.
• Establish engineering patterns and reference implementations for consistent development and operation across Azure and AWS.
• Define best practices for application configuration, deployment workflows, and lifecycle management in cloud-native environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, application engineering, or solution integration roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
