Scientific Direction:
- Define the forecasting science agenda and research roadmap.
- Translate complex business goals into clear ML problems and measurable success criteria.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical direction and mentor senior scientists and ML engineers.
- Review designs and strengthen scientific judgment across teams.
Forecasting Excellence:
- Guide evaluation across classical, ML, probabilistic, and pretrained forecasting approaches.
- Address hierarchical, intermittent demand, covariates, cold starts, segmentation, explainability, and domain adaptation.
Operational Impact:
- Partner with architects, MLOps, and data-infrastructure teams to support millions of series and daily forecasting.
- Communicate scientific trade-offs to technical and executive audiences to build alignment.
