Job Description
Avero is seeking a hands-on Architect Team Lead to guide the modernization of our platform and lead the transition from legacy systems to cloud-native applications. This role is a player/coach position and involves spending part of your time writing code, building migration solutions, and reviewing designs, while also setting architectural direction, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with leadership.
You will initially lead a small architecture team (yourself plus one engineer) with the opportunity to grow the team over time as our modernization efforts expand. This is a chance to be both a builder and a leader, shaping the next generation of Avero’s platform. You'll lead the architectural design and hands-on migration of Avero’s legacy platform into cloud-native services. Manage and mentor a small architecture team, with plans to scale as Avero grows.
