Engineering Manager

About the Role:

• Lead the day-to-day of our engineering team as a pure people-management role.
• Own work assignment, unblocking, and delivery tracking across in-house and partner engineers.
• Act as the number two to our head of engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Balance workloads to individual capacity and working styles, including engineers across timezones.
• Coordinate delivery across separate teams while managing shared workstreams like bug fixes.
• Champion spec-driven development and AI-assisted engineering practices across the team.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years directly managing engineers.
• Experience managing distributed teams, including offshore or partner/vendor engineers.
• Fluency with modern delivery tooling (Linear or similar) and Kanban-style flow.
