About the Role:
- Lead a fully-distributed team of 6-8 engineers building high-quality software for the blood collection industry.
- Own delivery from requirements through production, ensuring team well-being and technical excellence.
- Partner with product managers and engineering leadership to align on strategy and priorities.
What You'll Own:
- Delivery, planning, and execution of software projects, including release management and incident response.
- People management: 1:1s, performance reviews, career guidance, and team health.
- AI-augmented delivery: set norms for AI tool usage and track impact on quality and delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years software engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Technical expertise in web development, Ruby on Rails, AWS, and AI development tools.
- Strong communication, adaptability, and a passion for developing people.
