Civil Design Engineer II

Create site layouts and civil land development design sheet sets in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for utility and commercial scale renewable energy projects. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes. Manage time efficiently across multiple projects and coordinate with clients and project managers on their expectations. Work under the guidance of more senior staff and lead small projects. Attend project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments. Collaboratively use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments. Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements. Prior renewable energy project experience is desirable. Ability to identify and solve complex problems and communicate effectively.
