Position Summary:
- Support the bidding process by development and preparation of cost estimates for projects or services as assigned.
- Follow the standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating that have been established.
- Coordinate estimates and proposals and present submittals to the regional manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and organized cost estimates using HCSS software.
- Assess and communicate project risks based on a thorough knowledge of proposal documents.
- Coordinate the preparation of quantity takeoffs from project plans and documents.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Eight (8+) years of estimating experience in heavy-civil preferred or similar industries.
- Scheduling software experience (Primavera/MS Project) is required.
