Responsibilities:

Manage employees and consultants to plan, coordinate, and supervise outside plant construction and splicing operations in multiple states.
Work with Finance and Legal departments to ensure proper accounting and mitigate risks in asset transfers and network negotiations.
Conduct pre-staking, pre-bid, and pre-construction meetings, and verify proper right-of-way, easements, permits, and cable designs.

Project Oversight:

Oversee numerous construction projects, monitoring costs, TDS standards, and job progress to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
Schedule acceptance testing of new outside plant facilities and update facility maps and records post-construction.
Verify all network additions are included on local 'one-call' mapping systems and all required project documentation is complete.

Compliance and Development:

Audit OSP projects to ensure compliance with National Electrical Code, RUS, and TDS OSP standards, coaching Associate Managers and contractors.
Provide human resource management, including manpower apportionment, performance assessments, coaching, and recognition for personnel development.
Ensure the OSP group complies with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and coordinates with Network Planning, Rights-of-Way, and Contract Administration.
