Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and exploratory testing on web and mobile, leveraging developer tools, device logs, and Datadog to investigate root causes.
• Test REST APIs directly, validate request/response payloads, and automate test suites using Playwright and Maestro.
• Write clear bug reports with repro steps, logs, and evidence, and maintain regression suites and release checklists.

Required Skills:

• Deep familiarity with browser developer tools, React Native debugging on real devices, and observability platforms like Datadog.
• Proven experience building automated test suites from scratch for web and mobile, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and comfort reading application logs; experience with Postman for API testing.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Communicate clearly in standups, tickets, and Slack, partnering with engineering, product, and design throughout development.
• Report on test coverage, open defects, and release risk in a way non-engineers can follow, and escalate quality concerns early.
• Close the loop by verifying fixes and confirming they hold in subsequent builds, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
