Mortgage Closer - Funder

The Funder position is very essential to making the borrowers’ closing experience pleasant and seamless. The primary focus is to exceed our client’s expectations and deliver exceptional service by closing on time and smoothly. This position is crucial in the development of strong, lasting client relationships by delivering speedy and accurate solutions to funding questions and concerns. Representing our company in a positive, professional and compassionate manner is essential and required by all funding personnel. Duties include ensuring loan quality and regulatory compliance, maintaining communication with customers, departments, and closing agents, and verifying loan closures as scheduled. The role also involves reviewing files, preparing documentation, and explaining closing requirements. Qualifications include two years of recent funding experience with a mortgage lender, experience with conventional and government loan programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Encompass 360, and Doc Magic. The ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule with overtime and weekends as needed is also important.
