Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end ML systems: scoping, feature engineering, model development, backtesting, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Create production-safe evaluation infrastructure with automated backtests, error decomposition, and regression gates.
- Define success metrics tied to business outcomes and communicate assumptions and risks to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in applied ML/data science (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff), including owning models in production.
- Strong forecasting expertise or deep Bayesian statistical methods with Python/R and SQL proficiency.
- Experience using AI-assisted development workflows responsibly with verification loops.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $180,000–$220,000 (Senior) or $210,000–$250,000 (Staff), plus annual profit award.
- Remote eligible (U.S.), with NYC area preferred; applications accepted through September 6, 2026.
