  • Build tools, automations, and applications to support internal business needs across marketing, research, and workflow optimization.
  • Design, test, and improve language model based workflows for tasks such as classification, summarization, extraction, generation, and search.
  • Partner with teams across Marketing, Product, Data Science, and the broader business to translate needs into scalable solutions.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing product information and problem resolution.

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities to support data-driven decision-making and team success.

  • Drive end-to-end ML systems for forecasting products, from scoping and feature engineering to deployment and monitoring.
  • Build AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Claude Code to automate tasks with quality gates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and measurable impact.

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications as part of our ongoing platform evolution.
  • Build, test, deploy, and iterate on both existing and new technology products that serve internal and external users.
  • Leverage strong technical skills in front-end, backend, cloud services, and DevOps to drive continuous improvement and automation.

  • Oversee production editorial work for original titles from manuscript to bound book/ePub, including 1-color and 4-color projects.
  • Hire and review freelance copy editors, proofreaders, and indexers, clearing manuscripts and collating changes in page proofs.
  • Perform quality checks on ebook files, copyedit jacket/cover copy, and collaborate with design and production to maintain schedules.

  • Supports planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of advertising campaigns for Random House Children's Books.
  • Partners with marketers, vendors, and the Central Advertising Team to develop advertising recommendations and execute paid media campaigns.
  • Manages campaign operations and analyzes performance to drive awareness, audience growth, and book sales.
