Research Engineer

The Role:

• Research-focused role on a clinical AI team building a production compiler for healthcare standards.
• Combines rigorous experimentation with engineering to ensure clinical recommendations are traceable and logically complete.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of research/industry experience or PhD/postdoc with production engineering.
• Strong Python, PyTorch, and Transformers skills; experience shipping ML/NLP systems.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, training, or prompt engineering; compiler or formal methods experience valued.

Compensation & Location:

• Remote with primary location in Canada; authorized to work in Canada or the US.
• Base salary $250,000 to $400,000 USD annually; visa sponsorship not available.
