Role Overview:
- Seek a self-starter to own and lead month-end close tasks, from journal entries to reconciliations.
- Must have US GAAP expertise and experience coaching junior staff.
- Report to the Controller and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, BS reconciliations, and supporting schedules for financial reporting and audits.
- Review work of junior staff, provide feedback, and train/coach as needed.
- Perform cross-period and variance analyses, identify missing items, and streamline processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in accounting or finance, active CPA license, and 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Mix of public accounting (audit) and industry experience required.
- Hands-on month-end close experience and strong analytical skills.
