Technical leadership:
- Stay close to the code with 20–30% hands-on engineering, including writing production code and reviewing critical-path pull requests.
- Set multi-quarter technical direction for your domains and partner with the AI/ML team on agentic workflows.
- Modernize the platform by consolidating fragmented data models and evolving legacy services for transactional integrity.
Engineering operating rhythm:
- Establish effective planning, prioritization, and design review practices that balance delivery speed with long-term scalability.
- Own production support for your domains, including triage, escalation management, and root-cause resolution.
- Define service level objectives, build performance dashboards, and lead root-cause analysis on production issues.
Team growth and culture:
- Coach engineers technically, bringing AI-assisted development workflows into daily practice and reducing knowledge silos through reviews and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated product manager on discovery, prioritization, and outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive, purpose-driven culture in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
