Job Description
The Software Developer in Test II will lead technical test automation efforts and coach non-technical team members, driving the functional and non-functional test automation in various projects/programs. This role requires managing project test activities and aligning them with internal Quality Engineering practices. You will perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, testable code and provide support for Roadmap items and Deployment Test Automation efforts.
In the first 30 days, you'll onboard by familiarizing yourself with Varicentβs Sales Planning software and the companyβs culture. The first 60 days involve leading technical test automation initiatives and expanding test coverage. By 90 days, expectations include technical ownership of quality assurance tasks across multiple projects, mentoring non-technical team members, and building internal tools to enhance test capabilities.
