About the Role:
- Arch Systems is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to build and operate infrastructure powering our products and customer deployments.
- This hands-on role focuses on secure cloud infrastructure, regulated deployments, and production operations across AWS and AWS GovCloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and operation of services in FedRAMP High-aligned environments, working with compliance platforms and partners.
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes, improving reliability, observability, and access controls.
- Support release operations, incident response, and create runbooks for regulated deployments.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or related roles with strong AWS and Terraform skills.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, cloud security fundamentals, and production incident response.
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into technical implementations and clear documentation.
