About the Role:
- Lead a data engineering team in a hands-on player-coach role.
- Develop engineers and guide technical architecture for data systems.
- Own critical pipelines built on large-scale alternative datasets.
What You’ll Own:
- Large scale data pipelines for public and private investor business units.
- Production datasets and analytical models for research and customer-facing deliverables.
- Data quality and observability frameworks for reliability.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of data engineers.
- Partner with Technical Product Managers to translate roadmap into technical plans.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate implementation and raise team productivity.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years in data engineering with 3+ years of managerial experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Airflow.
- Experience building business-critical data systems and working cross-functionally.
