This is a senior R&D role overseeing eight product squads, identifying cross-cutting problems and opportunities.
You'll lead a team of Staff Engineers driving platform modernization, authentication, dependency health, and security.
You'll be accountable for results, balancing competing priorities and making the case for how to allocate R&D time.

What You'll Do:

Define cross-cutting bets and shape work with Staff Engineers before team commitments.
Grow and develop Staff Engineers as technical leaders, expanding the group's impact across the business.
Own Ellevation's security practice and CA security relationship, ensuring compliance and effective tooling.

What You'll Bring:

10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience hiring and growing senior and staff-level engineers.
Track record of delivering large, ambiguous technical problems across teams.
Strong foundation in modern web apps, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD, plus background in application security, compliance, and incident response.
