English to Portuguese Patent LQA Reviewer

In this exciting position, the content reviewer will localize, translate, and adapt biology patents and related content while adhering to the writing style guide and guidelines. The role will focus on ensuring the highest linguistic quality standards for translated content, aligning with client expectations and project requirements. Main duties include performing linguistic quality assessments (LQA) of translated content from English (en-US) to Portuguese (pt-PT), identifying and correcting linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology, style, and adherence to client-specific guidelines, providing detailed feedback to translators and creating comprehensive quality reports, ensuring adherence to client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project guidelines, utilizing CAT tools (JIRA, XTM) to review and assess translations efficiently, and managing weekly capacity to handle 2,000 - 5,000 words per locale and ensure timely task completion.
