GL/AP Accounting Consultant (Contractor)

We are looking for an experienced GL AP Accounting Consultant. This individual will manage an offshore accounts payable process, day-to-day general ledger accounting, fixed assets, prepaids, and cash and investments. This individual is expected to make contributions to our efforts around financial systems implementation and process enhancements. Operational Accounting: Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process, ensure general ledger reconciliations. Work with the procurement team and offshore accounting support team. Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and manage the corporate card program. Prepare audit schedules and financial analytics. Systems & Process Enhancement: Lead or support the implementation of new procure-to-pay systems, identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities across accounting workflows.
