Senior Data & Integration Engineer – Incident Management Platform

Role Overview:

• This is a contract role for a Senior Data & Integration Engineer to own the design and build of a centralized Incident Management Platform.
• You will work with Databricks, AWS, APIs, and AI-powered agents to improve incident workflows and operational visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop production-grade API and webhook integrations connecting alerting platforms, Jira Cloud, and internal services.
• Build reliable data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and SQL, ensuring data quality, governance, and reconciliation.
• Establish automated testing, failure recovery mechanisms, and operational documentation for platform resilience.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Backend Integration Engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, AWS, REST APIs, and Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience integrating LLMs or AI agents into real-world workflows, plus solid fundamentals in Git, CI/CD, and testing.
