Director of Engineering

Influence company goal setting by representing engineering’s current and future capacity & capabilities. Strategically align division teams with the company direction, then communicate the vision and plan to the rest of the engineering team and other stakeholders. Understand how to navigate a complex domain area and reconcile market, budget, and competing priorities as constraints. Department budget ownership includes current headcount, team development, education, tooling, hiring and retention. Track and evaluate key performance metrics, objectives, dependencies, status, and results of a growing product portfolio. Manage, track and promote employee engagement by building a mission-driven culture of improving patient’s lives built on teamwork, autonomy, interdependence and creative problem-solving. Direct key technical decisions related to application and data model design.
