Associate Director, Finance and Accounting

Financial Strategy & Reporting:

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership through comprehensive financial analysis.
• Oversee the property level month-end and year-end close processes for an +85 property portfolio.
• Enhance and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and controls to optimize operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

Property Finance Team (PFT) Leadership:

• Manage Finance Managers and Property Accountants.
• Serve as the escalation point for portfolio and property level issues that Finance Managers are not able to independently resolve.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and creating a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Process & Project Leadership:

• Lead projects related to property and portfolio level reporting and accounting, including automation and optimization initiatives.
• Champion the adoption of tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities.
• Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, while staying ahead of evolving industry requirements.
