General Helper

The General Helper position is critical to the success of the culinary team. In a kitchen support role, the General Helper works a variety of shifts throughout the day and acts as the fuel that keeps the kitchen running smoothly. Kitchen support workers will complete various tasks throughout the day based on their shift schedule and time of day. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout shift, including lunchrooms, dining room, servery, ware wash area, main kitchen and storage areas Regular sweeping and mopping of all floors, including walk-in coolers and storage areas Stocking of all needed food, beverage and paper/disposable supplies as required Disposing of all garbage, cardboard and recyclables as required Correctly label, date and rotate all products put out for service Assisting in food production as required Receiving and storing of supplies (food, beverages, chemical and paper/disposables)
