Reporting to the Manager of Sustainability and ESG, the Sustainability Coordinator Intern will support Dexterra Group’s sustainability teams in advancing environmental sustainability projects across the organization, assisting in data collection, project coordination, and reporting related to sustainability initiatives, tracking progress toward goals, and contributing to company-wide engagement on environmental topics.
This is for a 6 month term position starting Jan 2026, working with the Integrated Facility Management team. The role involves maintaining relationships with stakeholders, identifying HSEQ risks, communicating expectations, providing training, managing the HSEQ program, preparing monthly HSE statistics, managing disability claims, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for various employee groups across multiple provinces in Canada. Manage a specific pay group, validate employee master data in ADP, and partner with HR on payroll-related matters. Capture time entries, prepare payroll, deductions, ROEs, and travel allowances. Maintain compliance with payroll processes and respond to employee inquiries.

The Utility Janitor combines janitorial duties with light facilities support and on-site driving. You will ensure the camp’s common areas, offices, and workspaces are clean and sanitary while operating camp vehicles to transport waste, supplies, and equipment between facilities. Safety protocols, WHMIS compliance, and PPE use are mandatory. This role is well-suited for professionals with strong hospitality backgrounds and experience working in remote camps.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the camp gym facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users. This role manages member check-ins, equipment maintenance, cleaning, and supports health and safety compliance. Requires fly-in/fly-out travel from Edmonton to the project site in Nunavut, with potential for weather-related delays or logistical challenges.
