Head of Construction Defect Claims

The Head of Construction Defect Claims will own the development and performance of the CD Claim teams, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of liability claims of the highest complexity and/or severity. They will continuously develop talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and strengthen new skills, monitor the performance of their team, analyzing any problematic trends to identify root cause problems, and escalate issues or may recommend solutions to operational leadership. They will advocate a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed and demonstrate a passion and vision towards a highly effective and engaged employee culture. They will select top talent, deliver continuous coaching, recognizes employees to reinforce behaviors that ensure service excellence, and holds other accountable for the development of their teams. This role requires significant experience in claims leadership roles within the insurance industry, with material experience in Construction Defect claim management.
