Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Contacts insurance companies to determine pre-certification, pre-authorization, and medical necessity.
-Obtains pre-certification or pre-authorization before the service is performed.
-Notify payers of admittance if required.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED required.
-Three years experience in Revenue Cycle or healthcare required.
-Prior Epic experience Preferred.
