Senior Engineer - Cloud Operations

Responsibilities:

• Own the architecture and operation of secure, scalable, highly available AWS and AWS GovCloud infrastructure end to end.
• Set technical direction for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation) with org-wide standards, reusable modules, and governance patterns.
• Drive engineering tasks for platform reliability, scalability, and capacity; help define SLA/SLO targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience with 8+ years in Cloud Ops, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep AWS expertise (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, EFS, Route 53, CloudWatch) with AWS GovCloud experience strongly preferred.
• Expert-level Infrastructure as Code and production-grade Kubernetes and Docker experience, with proven incident command experience.

• Sharp architectural judgment, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator across engineering, security, and executive conversations.
• Deep sense of ownership and accountability, energized by hard infrastructure problems, and willing to serve as escalation resource in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
