Senior DevOps Engineer

About this role:

• At Waymark, our infrastructure directly enables care delivery for patients with Medicaid benefits.
• As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll own projects from design through delivery, working with software and data engineers.
• This is a role for someone who wants to do meaningful work at the intersection of technology and healthcare equity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available systems on AWS and own CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve system reliability and sharpen alerting across our stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and help raise the DevOps literacy of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience designing fault-tolerant systems in cloud environments.
• Hands-on AWS, containerization, and infrastructure as code skills.
• Strong Linux, scripting, and CI/CD knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with service mesh, secrets management, data platforms, and networking.
• Programming experience in Python, Elixir, or TypeScript.
• Exposure to Google Cloud.
