Treatment Planning & Implementation:
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, or evaluate patient treatment plans.
- Conduct individual psychotherapy, prescribe medications, and educate patients on risks and benefits.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Document all patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Practice in full compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all relevant national standards of care.
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
- Assess patients' mental and physical status based on presenting symptoms and complaints.
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and distinguish between physiological and psychological conditions.
