Principal Product Manager - Vehicle & Asset Data Platform

This role is a defining opportunity for a Principal / Staff Product Manager to own the foundational layer of Samsara’s second-largest and original business, Telematics . Data platform is the engine for physical operations, collecting real-time information from over 1.4 million connected vehicle gateways across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Strategic IC will be responsible for the Vehicle and Asset Data Platform , ensuring the acquisition of complete, high-quality, and standardized data. This is about building the core system that drives every critical feature in the Telematics ecosystem: Maintenance, Sustainable Fleet / EV Management, diagnostics, and compliance. Define the strategic roadmap, execution, and innovation for this critical platform. Evolve the public-facing APIs that thousands of customers use to manage their vehicle lifecycle, and strategically drive third-party integrations to enrich the ecosystem.
