Area Medical Director - Oncology

Position Summary:

• The Area Medical Director is a senior physician leader embedded within a defined geography to serve as Natera's primary MD-to-MD clinical presence.
• This role drives engagement with community oncologists and KOLs to accelerate appropriate use of Natera's oncology portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute 12-18 MD-level engagements per quarter and maintain field presence of at least 4 ride days per month.
• Partner with MSL managers, Area Sales Directors, and Marketing Directors to align scientific messaging and commercial strategy.
• Identify and document field-driven evidence generation opportunities, including clinical trial concepts and KOL collaboration leads.

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification in oncology, hematology, or related specialty, and 5-8 years of clinical or medical affairs experience.
• Proven ability to communicate complex clinical data to community oncologist audiences, with experience in field-based medical affairs.
• High autonomy and T-shaped profile with deep oncology clinical expertise and cross-functional fluency.
