Job Description
As a Staff Engineer on the Platform Data & Services team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of HighLevel’s platform. You’ll design and develop shared frameworks, libraries, and core services that power products at scale. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving large-scale engineering challenges, and are passionate about creating systems that enable massive impact across teams.
Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and maintaining reusable frameworks, SDKs, and core platform services in Node.js and GoLang. You will build scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The position entails designing systems that efficiently interact with large-scale data using ElasticSearch, Google Firestore, MongoDB Atlas, ClickHouse, and Redis. You will contribute to high-performance service architecture capable of handling terabytes of data. Leadership will involve conducting design reviews, establishing best practices, and mentoring senior engineers to raise technical standards across the organization. Partnering with multiple teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable platform capabilities is required.
