You will spearhead the design and development of products and abstractions based on vehicle telematics data, lead technical discussions with teammates to identify gaps in our platform and influence the roadmap by setting direction, and collaborate with other teams to make design decisions. Given the ownership area of the team, this role is backend-leaning but will involve both web and mobile development.

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Core GoLang Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for developing and maintaining GoLang applications, designing and implementing Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) solutions, and developing solutions for protocol security, networking, and scalability.

As a Staff Software Engineer on our Runtime team, you will work directly with Viant’s ad server, managing a high-volume, low-latency application that processes billions of unique requests a day. In this role, you will deliver simple, elegant, scalable, extensible solutions that strike the right balance between short-term and long-term considerations.

The Labels team is responsible for building and maintaining Shippo’s label core API and some of the most critical carrier integrations at Shippo like USPS, UPS and FedEx, as well as developing Shippo’s carrier integration technology. Design, implement, test, and deploy software services with high SLAs. Ensure scalability and maintainability through microservices adoption, decoupling of concerns and data model, queuing of jobs and application layering and container-based software distribution.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go and frontend applications in TypeScript. Optimize PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch databases for high availability and performance. Lead incident investigations and on-call rotations, ensuring system reliability and performance. Communicate directly with merchants to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and propose scalable solutions. Implement and maintain fraud detection tools, card tokenization, blocklisting, and compliance with card network standards.
