Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain data governance policies, classification standards, and ownership models aligned with security and regulatory requirements.
- Own data access governance, entitlement standards, and periodic access reviews across the lakehouse and analytics environment.
- Partner with Data Engineering to implement technical controls and maintain accurate data inventories and lineage documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data security, GRC, or privacy engineering with hands-on modern data platform work.
- Strong understanding of frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or NIST and ability to implement practical governance programs.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) and regulatory requirements for financial services.
