What Is The Role:
- Provide technical vision and direction for building solutions that provide optimized storage and efficient data querying and indexing.
- Work cross-organizationally to deliver innovations in logs and metrics management.
- Empower individual engineers, code review every change, decide big things by consensus, and strive for incremental improvements.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Build data intensive new features and fix intriguing bugs, all while making the code easier to understand.
- Implement data structures or algorithms in the code base.
- Improve areas of Elasticsearch based on instincts.
What You Bring:
- Implement novel techniques to efficiently index, store and query Timeseries data.
- Have strong technical leadership skills and can guide projects from beginning to end.
- Have strong skills in core Java.
