2D Character Concept Artist

About the Project:

• The project is a sports documentary with animated segments recreating historical moments.
• Characters are primarily professional athletes, requiring strong anatomy and movement understanding.
• The visual direction combines realism and stylization with expressive drawing.

What We Are Looking For:

• A strong 2D artist with solid drawing and illustration skills.
• Ability to capture energy, movement, and physicality in character poses.
• Professional experience in 2D animation, on a series or similar.

Contract Details:

• This is a short-term freelance contract focused on character exploration and visual development.
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
