Medical Director, Operations, Cardiovascular

We are looking for a Medical Director who will lead our Cardiology Associate Medical Directors and perform clinical reviews. Reporting to the Senior Medical Director for Cohere Health, this person is a part of the review team. This is a critical role that is rapidly scaling to impact millions of patients. This is a fast-paced environment that favors people who are able to learn quickly, be hands-on, handle ambiguity, and communicate effectively.

This person will lead and inspire a team of Cardiology Associate Medical Directors performing clinical prior authorization reviews and peer-to-peer discussions, drive operational excellence across a fully remote team, and conduct clinical reviews. They will also engage with treating providers to discuss cases, clarify clinical details, and guide on evidence-based alternatives.
