People Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts, building skills in SQL, dbt, data modeling, and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, design reviews, and PR reviews, providing timely and actionable technical feedback that accelerates analyst growth.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, experimentation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Technical Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for data transformations and the analytics layer, establishing dbt modeling and quality patterns and standards that scale across the organization.
- Evaluate and champion emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics, including responsible adoption of AI tooling.
- Establish data governance frameworks, quality standards, and lineage documentation practices that support audit and compliance requirements.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Partner with Product and Engineering to support enterprise partner integrations, ensuring the analytics layer delivers consistent, quality-assured data whether consumed via legacy batch processes or emerging real-time APIs.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across data, product, engineering, and business teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical executives, building alignment and driving informed decision-making
