About the Program:
- The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program offering professional development and meaningful work at non-profits tackling policy challenges.
- Participants receive a stipend of $5,500 (part-time) or $7,500 (full-time) and must be located in the US.
Role Responsibilities:
- Embedded in the Policy Team, you will work directly with staff writers and researchers on public policy coverage.
- Tasks include researching and writing about policy topics, assisting with tracking, and conducting detailed research.
- You will participate in brainstorming and planning meetings with experienced staff.
Work Environment:
- Ballotpedia interns work remotely, requiring a well-functioning computer and internet access.
- The team uses Google Applications, so familiarity is helpful.
