Job Description
The intern will review and distill findings from states’ 1115 waiver food is medicine program evaluations, monitoring reports, and other relevant sources. They will identify trends across state programs related to their food is medicine interventions and assist with creating brief reports, one-pager materials, and PowerPoint presentations for various audiences. The intern will also support presentations on these materials and findings.
Candidates should be seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in public policy, public health, or related fields. Experience in synthesizing academic or clinical research and data for policy or advocacy audiences, especially related to publicly funded healthcare programs is required. A demonstrated ability to go beyond surface-level analysis of abstracts to draw out policy-relevant insights and an understanding of Medicaid.
