Site Reliability Engineer

Zapier is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Data Platforms team, leveling up the reliability, observability, and operational maturity of the modern data stack. This role involves supporting data platforms like Databricks and Airflow, improving observability and alerting, automating operations, participating in on-call and incident response, and contributing to security and compliance readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in Site Reliability Engineering, familiarity with cloud-native architecture (AWS), and a strong communication in a remote-first world. Responsibilities also include building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code, optimizing operations, and ensuring platforms are reliable and empowering for Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Backend Engineers.
