Job Description

The Senior Account Director interfaces with the client and the client services team to provide strategic direction and support on client accounts. This role manages and leads the client services team to effectively execute the strategic direction for client projects. The Senior Account Director position manages the client services team across single or multiple clients and works directly with the client to ensure goals and objectives are being met. Taking ownership of the campaign process from inception to completion, this role may also supervise client services direct reports, maintaining client relationships, mentoring direct reports, and ensuring client deliverables are strategically on target, implemented on time, and within budget. The Senior Account Director is the primary contact between the client and internal agency team, and is responsible for communicating brand/medical education strategy effectively to team members. This involves understanding the client's brand, therapeutic area, and objectives, acting as a bridge between the client and brand/medical education strategy, and managing day-to-day client service business to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires anticipating client needs, making recommendations, handling multiple projects and clients under pressure, and working with multiple departments to ensure overall quality control.
