Senior Platform Engineer

UTA seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to drive the design, automation, and scalability of the platforms that power our engineering services. In this role, you will provide technical leadership on cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems are built for resiliency, security, and long-term growth. You will architect and deliver AWS-based infrastructure with Terraform, define platform standards, and enable development teams to ship quickly and safely. You will also help expand our ChatOps ecosystem, bridging development workflows and infrastructure automation, while mentoring peers and shaping engineering best practices. As a Senior Platform Engineer, some of your responsibilities include leading the architecture and automation of cloud infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles, championing the use of self-service tooling and ChatOps, enabling teams to manage infrastructure and deployments through Slack-based workflows, and establishing and enforcing engineering standards for IaC, container management, security configurations, and operational practices.
