About the Data Governance Manager:
- Enable data to be used confidently, creatively, and responsibly.
- Build and sustain a well-managed semantic/context layer that powers consistent analytics.
- Work closely with data science, product, legal, infosec, and engineering teams.
What you will do:
- Define and implement data governance policies aligned with privacy, security, compliance, and ethical AI standards.
- Improve data quality and trust at scale, including defining KPIs and driving remediation with data owners.
- Develop a governance framework that supports privacy, security, compliance, and business continuity.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years in data governance, data management, or adjacent roles.
- Strong understanding of privacy/security principles as they apply to data.
- Excellent communication skills to translate between technical teams and stakeholders.
