Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at Oscilar, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance, low-latency backend services using Java and AWS technologies. Collaboration with product management, frontend, and QA teams is essential to define technical requirements and ensure smooth platform integration. Optimizing existing services to achieve maximum performance, reliability, and maintainability is also part of the role. You will identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring optimal resource utilization and stability. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines and proactively monitor the health and performance of backend services, taking necessary actions to mitigate potential issues. Mentorship for junior team members is also expected.
