Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a high-impact role in modernizing and scaling the Degreed platform in an Azure environment. You'll lead key initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience as Degreed migrates toward container-based services.
Key responsibilities include leading Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform, defining and improving the cloud infrastructure on Azure, streamlining deployments and building robust CI/CD pipelines, supporting the shift toward containerization, and collaborating with teams across the business to support growth, scalability, and automation. You will also be participating in a rotating on-call schedule to support uptime and stability.
The role involves driving the shift toward Infrastructure as Code (IaC), developing tools to empower developers, collaborating with stakeholders to understand technical requirements, implementing and configuring new development tools and infrastructure, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
