Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role:

• Redpanda is building the Agentic Data Plane (ADP) for streaming and data infrastructure.
• Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is the delivery arm, embedding engineers with strategic customers.
• As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you build agents and integrations that turn ADP into owned outcomes.

You Will:

• Build at the customer site, writing production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda ADP.
• Work in unfamiliar territory, fast, ramping quickly and building on top of existing codebases.
• Own the technical deliverable, design it, build it, and hand it off cleanly.

You Have:

• Engineering depth, having built backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems in production.
• Agent and integration experience, working with LLM APIs and building reliable agents.
• Ability to operate in any environment, extending unfamiliar codebases without breaking them.
